Why hire if I can buy?

Brollybucket only use high quality, elegant umbrellas of classic design, from Italy. Your umbrellas are sent to you individually sleeved in cellophane to ensure they are in an excellent condition ready for you to use. Hiring umbrellas of this quality is cheaper than buying and you only have them for the time you need.

How and when do I receive the brollies?

Your selected brollies will be delivered either by a Brollybucket representative or by trackable courier service directly to your home or venue, whichever is more convenient.

Deliveries are scheduled to arrive two working days before you’re before your event date. Exact dates will be confirmed on the ‘Brollybucket Order Confirmation Email’.

Please note: Your responsibility for the care of the umbrellas – from being lost, damaged or stolen – starts from the time the umbrellas are signed for and ends when the brollies have been collected from the nominated address.

How and when do I return the brollies?

You must return the brollies (as dry as possible) in the same box in which they were delivered.  The box must be resealed securely and the Return Address label attached.

Your brollies will be collected either by a Brollybucket representative or by courier from the location you specify when ordering.  Collection will be organised within two working days after your event is over. Exact dates will be confirmed on the Brollybucket Acknowledgement and Acceptance e-mail.

Please note: Your responsibility for the care of the umbrellas – from being lost, damaged or stolen – starts from the time the umbrellas are signed for and ends when the brollies have been collected from the nominated address.

Why should I order brollies in a bucket?

Our signature umbrella stand, or ‘bucket’ has been specifically designed to display the umbrellas beautifully. Made from clear, strong acrylic, the bucket will not detract from the lovely colours of your chosen umbrellas.  It is stable and strong enough to support your brollies safely without toppling but is still lightweight and easily positioned or transported.

It also provides sanctuary for any wet brollies rather than them sloshing around creating dangerous, drippy floors.

How do I know the umbrellas will be in good condition?

We do not hire out dirty, damaged or otherwise substandard umbrellas. Your umbrellas are sent to you individually sleeved in cellophane to ensure they are in an excellent condition ready for you to use.

How can I place an order?

Orders can be placed online via this website using our secure order form and payment gateway. Alternatively contact us by telephone on 01360 550307 (Office) or 01698 207635. You can also e-mail info@brollybucket.co.uk.

Can I cancel an order?

Yes. Orders can be cancelled. For any orders cancelled 15 days or more from the event date we will refund your payment minus a £10 administration fee. Orders cancelled within 14 days of your event date will not qualify for any refund.

Do you have a minimum amount of brollies you can hire?

The minimum amount of brollies you can hire is one.

Do you have a maximum amount of brollies you can hire?

There is no limit to the number of brollies we will hire but all hire brollies are subject to availability. Do not delay, get in early!

Can I choose the number and colour of umbrellas in each bucket?

Each bucket contains upto 15 umbrellas. On our Customize Brolly Bucket page, you can select the umbrellas you wish to hire along with hiring a Brolly Bucket, Umbrella Stand.

Can I hire a bucket on its own?

No, buckets are only available as part of a Brollybucket set with up to 15 umbrellas in each.

Will my umbrella be available?

In the unlikely event that your brollies are unavailable, we will be in contact and will process an immediate refund.

As each umbrella has its own hire schedule sometimes a particular umbrella becomes unavailable.  This is often due to high demand or a last minute order.  It is advisable to order your brollies early as we allocate on ’first come first served’ basis.

Brolly Bucket will try to fulfil any request, however, your order is not confirmed until you receive an ‘Order Confirmation Email’ directly from brolly bucket confirming your delivery and collection dates and therefore the availability of your brollies.

What do I do if an umbrella is lost, stolen or damaged?

For health and safety reasons, please do not return soiled or damaged brollies to us, please dispose of them.

On receipt of the return package of brollies to brolly bucket, we thoroughly check the brollies.

We will then email you a Returns Confirmation confirming the number of brollies you have NOT returned and any further brollies which are found not to be in reasonable condition.  You will then be charged for each umbrella not returned and the amount indicated on the Returns Confirmation.

If a charge is to be made we charge x1 Original Hire Price for Umbrellas and x2 Original Hire price for our 'Bucket' umbrella stand.

For example, if you lost 2 brollies you would be charged an additional £8.00. The card you pay with originally will be charged.

Should I dry umbrellas before returning them?

You must return the brollies as dry as possible. Wet umbrellas should be left open in a dry and warm place long enough for them to dry out.

Can I keep any of the brollies I have hired?

You are welcome to keep any of the umbrellas you have hired, however, you will be charged for each umbrella as if it had been lost or damaged.

Who else (apart from Event Planners) might use your umbrellas?

Our umbrellas have been used in a variety of ways!

  • Shows or Theatre Productions
  • Photographers and Fashion Photo Shoots.
  • On the red carpet at Award Ceremonies
  • Christenings
  • Interior design and ‘home dressing’ for show homes.
  • Days at the races, ladies day at Royal Ascot for example.
  • Car Hire companies or Chauffer driven cars
